Instructions for using Marvin in Word and PowerPoint
The right-click context menu on a given chemical structure in Word/PowerPoint brings up the JChem for Office menu item. If you do not have a molecule object in your Office file, please go to https://freetrial.marvin.cxn.io/ and draw a simple molecule (e.g benzene) in Marvin which can subsequently be-copy pasted into Word/PowerPoint.
Using the right-click context menu on a chemical structure, you may select from a variety of structure editors to use as a renderer and as an editor itself. If you are a Marvin Trial user, the settings below are recommended.
Marvin should be selected as a Structure Editor.
Structure Renderer should be set to Autodetect.
